Punk Rocker Tweets ‘Bitcoin Camaro’ to 106,000 Fans Thanks to Siri Blooper

Laura Jane Grace, lead singer and guitarist of punk rock band Against Me! and solo project Laura Jane Grace & The Devouring Mothers, is annoyed because her phone reportedly keeps auto-correcting “bitchin” to “bitcoin”, the world’s most dominant cryptocurrency.

Grace, who has rocked Coachella and produced seven studio albums, has asked fans and her 106,000 Twitter followers to tell her what “bitcoin Camaro” means.

Fans chimed in with responses.

You can buy a Camaro with Bitcoin. Siri has a point!

It’s giving you financial advice.

Broke: tesla

Woke: bitcoin camaro

A Camaro that was purchased w a bitcoin

A Google search for “Bitcoin Camaro” shows that the name has been claimed by a “pseudo-swampy” music band from New York City. As for “Bitchin’ Camaro,” that’s a song by The Dead Milkmen.

Bitcoin, the world’s most popular cryptocurrency, got a proper musical shout-out last year when Eminem dropped Kamikaze and slipped BTC into the eighth track, “Not Alike” featuring Royce da 5’9″.

“Remember everybody used to bite Nickel, now everybody doing bitcoin.”

And in 2017 BTC spawned a full “Bitcoin Billionaire” jam on YouTube.
