Litecoin creator Charlie Lee gave a shout-out to LTC’s big screen moment during the National Football League’s Dolphins vs. Patriots game on Sunday, September 15th.

In July 2019, Litecoin (LTC) became the “official cryptocurrency” of the Miami Dolphins. 

“Through a partnership [with the Litecoin Foundation,] the Miami Dolphins, … and Aliant Payments intend to give home game attendees the ability to pay with Litecoin and Bitcoin when purchasing tickets.”

Pro Soccer Club Goes for Crypto

Turkey’s most successful football team, Galatasaray Sports Club, is partnering with sports and entertainment-focused blockchain firm Chiliz to create “fan tokens” giving fans access to the team’s merchandise and event information, among other perks.

The team follows Atle?tico de Madrid, which became the first La Liga team to join Socios.com, the creator of a new app for football fans, where users can earn voting rights to “influence the clubs [they] love.”
