Here’s When XRP’s Biggest Supporters Say They Will Sell Their Holdings
XRP’s most ardent supporters, often referred to as the XRP army, are revealing when they plan to sell their holdings.
A new poll from XRPArcade’s Leonidas Hadjiloizou asks when investors plan to cash out, offering four potential exit points.
At time of publishing, about 5,500 people have submitted their responses via Twitter.
5.5% say they will sell their XRP in the $0.60 to $1.00 zone. XRP is within that range now at $0.69, according to CoinMarketCap.
If the third-largest crypto asset reaches the $1 to $4 region, 11.2% say they will sell.
Another 20.1% say they will sell if XRP moves to the $4 to $10 region.
The remaining 63.2% say they will only sell if XRP is above the $10 mark. Just how high above $10 would be different for everyone and the poll does not get more specific.
XRP spent most of this year and last year between the $0.17 to $0.30 region, lagging behind Bitcoin and Ethereum.
At its current price of $0.69, XRP is up 263% in 2020. Bitcoin is up 163% this year and Ethereum is up 363% this year.
XRP is down 82% from its all-time high of $3.84, which was set on January 4th, 2018. Bitcoin is down 8% from its all-time high and Ethereum is down 57% from its all-time high.
