The poll received a lot of attention and 900,000 votes from those in and out of the crypto world.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk responded to Williams recommending that the actor, “toss a Bitcoin to [her] witcher,” to which Williams responded, “how’s Blue Origin going?” in reference to the aerospace manufacturer led by Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, SpaceX’s competitor.
Galaxy Digital CEO and Bitcoin bull, Mike Novogratz also replied to Williams’ inquiry, touting Bitcoin’s advantages and providing his own price predictions.
“Duh!! I bought more BTC last night at $15,800. It’s going to $20,000 and then to $65,000. The network effect has taken over. I see tons of new buyers and there is very little supply. It’s an easier trade here than at $11,000. So, YES, buy it.”
Although 53% of Williams’ Twitter followers recommended that she should not purchase any BTC, Williams disregarded the bears.
