Fastest Block Explorer for the EOS Blockchain Launches, Goes Full Throttle on Functionality

Bloks.io claims to be the fastest block explorer for EOS. It launches today.

The web tool was launched by EOS Calgary in collaboration with HKEOS. Bloks.io is a comprehensive tool that puts into focus the revolutionary notion that blockchain will transform the internet and even surpass the internet in terms of its impact on businesses, cross-border transactions, governments and societies. It was developed by EOS Cafe Calgary.

The web tool allows people to view a list of information detailing blocks, transactions, accounts and producers on the EOS blockchain. Users can access an account page that shows:

  • Balances of all airdrops

  • Filtering actions based on type (RAM/Account/Producer)

  • Breakdown of RAM/CPU/NET usage

  • Proxy information

  • Token transfers, and more

“Our goal was to create the fastest and most reliable block explorer for the community as a way to engage with others and keep them informed about the EOS network,” said Syed Jafri, Head of Development at EOS Cafe Calgary.

EOS Cafe was founded by Troi Bryan, a blockchain developer and early adopter of Bitshares, Steem and e-gold, a Bitcoin predecessor. His vision for EOS Cafe is to support development on the EOS blockchain and build a network that combines the power of people working collectively across the globe to shake up the status quo by building DApps that foster liberty in many different ways with a variety of use cases.

To grow the ecosystem, the team at EOS Cafe has also developed a suite of tools for the community, such as offline key validation, a paper wallet and fallback registration.
