Crypto News Flash: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Stellar (XLM), 0x (ZRX), EOS, Qtum
From a big league crypto giveaway to a bold prediction on the price of Bitcoin, here’s a look at some of the stories breaking in the world of crypto.
Bitcoin (BTC)
Former hedge fund manager and crypto investor Mike Novogratz says he believes the price of Bitcoin will jump 30% in the near future.
“I do think Bitcoin is going to be significantly higher by the end of the year,” Novogratz said in a new interview with CNBC.
A major league sports team just introduced the Ethereum network to thousands of fans.
The first 40,000 fans who entered the stadium at last night’s Los Angeles Dodgers game received a card with a digital code on it. They can use the card to unlock a digital bobblehead of pitcher Clayton Kershaw, third baseman Justin Turner or pitcher Kenley Jansen, which can then be downloaded to an Ethereum wallet.
One such fan posted a picture of their crypto card on Reddit.
EOS, Stellar, Qtum, 0x
Goldman-backed Circle says Qtum, 0x, Stellar and EOS are now available for purchase on its crypto platform, Circle Invest.
Circle says it added the coins “specifically based on their potential to contribute powerful infrastructure to the broader crypto ecosystem.”
