From a debate on the true value of Bitcoin to the adoption of five cryptocurrencies for a great cause, here’s a look at some of the stories breaking in the world of crypto.

Bitcoin

Part two of a debate between Litecoin founder Charlie Lee and Bitcoin Cash evangelist Roger Ver just dropped on YouTube.

In this release, the two debate whether Bitcoin has intrinsic value.

A $30 million Manhattan luxury building has been tokenized on the Ethereum blockchain, reports Forbes. This marks a first for the US real estate industry.

Investors can now buy tokens that represent legally compliant ownership in the 12-condo East Village building. No traditional bank financing required.

Ripple and XRP

Ripple dropped a recap of its Swell 2018 crypto conference in San Francisco.

Bill Clinton endorsed blockchain at the event, as Ripple revealed xRapid is now available for commercial use.

The Lupus Foundation of America says it is now accepting cryptocurrency donations in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum Classic.

“We recognize the benefit of accepting cryptocurrency and the groundbreaking nature of blockchain technology,” says LFA’s CEO Stevan Gibson. “With this new capability, we are also looking forward to expanding into accepting more cryptocurrencies as well as how we can leverage blockchain to elevate our impact as we see more individuals and organizations using this technology.”
