Crypto Exchange KuCoin Launches Support for Institutional Investors

The cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin says it’s inviting institutional investors who make massive trades to use the platform at a big discount.

Traders who move large amounts of crypto can apply to become an institutional trader online. Once they’re approved, qualified investors will receive trading fee discounts as high as 80% for at least 30 days.

Kucoin joins a number of other cryptocurrency exchanges targeting Wall Street money.

Coinbase is gearing up to launch Coinbase Custody, a crypto asset storage solution for big-time investors. The company is considering at least of 37 cryptocurrencies that it may offer its customers.

Coinbase Custody is one of four products the exchange is launching to bring billions of dollars in new money into the cryptocurrency market.
