Bitcoin Treasure Hunt Underway As Crypto Sleuths Search for BTC Bounty Hidden on the Internet

Privacy crypto start-up Incognito is inviting the public to participate in an online scavenger hunt to uncover one whole BTC that’s currently concealed somewhere on the internet.

The anonymous crypto exchange announced the launch of their Privacy Quest this week and plans to begin doling out prizes to participants on November 19th.

All one needs to do to participate in the hunt is download the Incognito app and begin following the clues to scour the internet for QR codes.

Incognito hints that QR codes may be disguised anywhere on the internet, but mentions specifically that codes could be hidden amongst social media comments, YouTube thumbnails and descriptions, online articles, and online forum posts.

QR codes unlock QUEST chests which then award code holders with a specific number of QUEST tokens.

One QUEST token equals one spin on the lucky wheel, which could award the spinner with one of a few tantalizing prizes. Such prizes include 1 BTC, 0.1 Monero (XMR) coins, a free year of a virtual private network (VPN) service, 10 Privacy (PRV) coins, an incognito node, and more. Incognito warns that prizes are limited, but they will periodically add new prizes at random points throughout the contest.

Incognito tells crypto sleuths that they may want to hurry to uncover the codes, because once a QR code is entered the maximum amount of times allowed, its corresponding treasure chest is emptied for good.
